ANNUAL MEETING
A highly interactive opportunity to present your software, big data discoveries, and big data resources and to discuss how to leverage our California-based BD2K efforts into further consortia activities for large-scale biomedical science and training
The Hyatt Vineyard Creek Resort, set in heart of Sonoma wine country, is modeled after a Tuscan villa. There are many shops, restaurants and cultural attractions nearby. The resort’s gardens boast aromatic lavender, wisteria and roses while the works by local artists are displayed in the sculpture garden.

Collaborations Collaborations CA BD2K 2016
More than 50 researchers from California’s BD2K centers and projects, plus several NIH representatives, gathered at the 2016 CA BD2K Workshop in Santa Rosa on Sept. 30 and Oct 1. The workshop was organized by the BDDS and ENIGMA centers at USC.
Researchers from the CEDAR, Mobilize (Stanford), bioCADDIE (UC San Diego), Heart BD2K (UCLA) and Translational Genomics (UC Santa Cruz) centers plus training projects at CSU Fullerton and Monterey Bay joined BDDS and ENIGMA colleagues to share results and create new collaborative projects. A spirited competition on Saturday morning provided a fun capstone to the event. Collaborators were promised a new Mini Cooper for the best multi-center collaboration. Meeting participants selected a winner: the team headed by Brian Bleakley of the Heart BD2K. The prize: a new, toy Mini Cooper, complete with flashing lights and siren.
Thank you for your interest in this event.
